I imagine if all had gone according to her college self's plan, Catherine would own seven or eight dogs right about now. But, a very special man entered her life instead, and her life took the best kind of turn. Catherine was the first among our group of friends to marry, the first to have a baby, the first to have two. And, it has been a true gift to witness the grace with which she handles it all: the care she extends to her family and those beyond is nothing short of incredible. I know we're the same age, but I've always looked up to her. There is so much to learn from my strong, loving friend.
These two kiddos have it good; I hope they cherish their parents, always.
