I didn't hate life as much as I thought I would, when my alarm went off at 4:30am. I suppose it was the excitement that moved me along; I was getting ready to head up to Richmond, VA, to meet a special friend from college and her husband-to-be for a sunrise shoot on the River. I'll admit there were tears shed on the drive up, thinking about our lives in college and life now and all the things we had hoped for back then, etc., etc. But, I pulled it together.
When you have a great location, great people, and great light it's reeeeaaally great. It's "the trifecta," as I call it. Beyond excitement for their photos, I'm excited for their future: this next stage their embarking on in a few months. So, if my tears tell me anything (aside from: don't wake up at 4:30am) it's that I love you, dear friend, and I'm so, so happy for you.
And, thanks Matt, for loving my friend like you do. It's good knowing you'll be with her.
