"You must see a lot," the bride's sister said to me, towards the end of the night.
"Yes, I do," I said, laughing, "every wedding is different."
I thought about her words some more on my way home, reflecting on the day. I really do get a neat "snapshot" of the couple, being around their family and friends, hearing the best man/ maid of honor speeches. And, through it all, I've come to believe you can tell a lot about people by what their loved ones say about them.
Israel and Melina were showered with kind words. Just showered. From start to finish, it truly was a celebration of two becoming one, and I felt rather honored to be there.
